If food and fun are two of your passions, then NoDa has the life for you!
Dig into the local art scene on the first and third Friday of the month with the NoDa Gallery Crawls from 6:30 to 9:30pm. NoDa is now the home to a top-notch collection of galleries and performance venues in the Queen City, and these crawls offer the opportunity to get to know them better during extended hours.
On the second Saturday of every month, NoDa hosts the Local Flavors Walking Food Tour. On this tour, you’ll meet local culinary artisans from 7 to 9 restaurants and find out how their passions get transformed into the delicious food before you. You’ll also get behind-the-scenes into the kitchens where these foods are created and get some valuable education about some of your favorite beverages!
Thursdays bring the Brew & Chew Tour to NoDa. Charlotte is quickly becoming one of NC’s top craft beer producing cities. This tour featuring the Party Pedaler (Charlotte’s Pub Trolley on wheels) focuses on Charlotte’s craft breweries and the local chefs and culinary artisans that produce great “beer food.” You’ll pedal Charlotte’s pub trolley through NoDa and learn from 12+ brewery owners and brewers about their products, as well as get behind-the-scenes insight into how that goodness gets in your glass. Along the tour, you’ll also be treated to some of the great beer food in the QC. Restaurant owners and chefs will share their knowledge on pairing food with the right beer, and some will showcase how they cook with local brews.
