The Charlotte housing market is changing, folks. Things are moving…and moving fast. It is now a perfect storm of cautious buyers and sellers that have been lying in wait for the just the right time to move. This is it.
I just sold a house that never even made it to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). My associates at Savvy + Co. are experiencing the same thing. We are also seeing multiple bids on houses again.
So, what does this mean? If you are a potential buyer, wait a bit until the nice weather really gets here for good. You are going to have more to choose from than in recent past years, they are going to be nice and updated because the sellers are much smarter now (as we all are) and the homes, for the most part are not going to be grossly overpriced.
Sellers know the buyers are smarter too. So, buyers if you see something you like go for it.
For potential sellers, it’s the best time in almost a decade to put your home on the market and receive a fair price – not a steal, but certainly not underpriced.
