It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost three years since I last visited the topic of wine bars in Charlotte. While I still stand behind that list, it’s definitely time for an update! So here are a few new favorites…
Corkbuzz – This spot wasn’t open when I first put together my list of wine bars in Charlotte, but I did post about it when it opened. It’s a great SouthPark-area spot for a glass or bottle of wine, lunch, dinner or weekend brunch, or to learn about wine!
The Wine Loft – Located in SouthEnd, the Wine Loft is an upscale Wine Bar that offers over 40 selections by the glass and over 100 selections by the bottle. And according to their Yelp page, Tuesday night is half price bottle night!
Sydney’s Martini and Wine Bar – This upscale bar in Fourth Ward in Uptown Charlotte is located in the base of the Transamerica Building. It’s a great place to sit back, unwind and relax.
Foxcroft Wine Co. – The original SouthPark/Foxcroft location was mentioned in my first wine bar post. But these folks are back with a second location in Dilworth in the Kenilworth Commons shopping center. This location boasts 40 wines by the glass (and 12 craft beers on tap if you’re looking for somewhere to go with your non wine drinking friends).
Sam’s – Located in the Piedmont Row area of SouthPark, J. Sam’s offers an amazing selection of fine wines and spirits, delicious appetizers and entrées and sinful-tasting desserts.
